At 15:30 hours, 04/01/2022, Tower 1, Engine 11 and PA219 were dispatched to Area Box 502 (Dunkirk’s area) for a report of a basement fire in the 8300 Block of Mount Harmony Lane. Engine 5 arrived on scene with nothing evident and assumed first due engine responsibilities. Chief 5 had command.

Tower 1 arrived on scene and assumed first due truck responsibility. Tower 1 was assigned the roof group and worked in conjunction with other units to find a malfunctioning furnace in the basement.

Units returned to service approximately 30 minutes later. No injuries were reported and damage was confined to the boiler.
