By NBVFD
March 5, 2025

At 1851 hours, Anne Arundel County dispatched Calvert Companies 1, 5 & 6 to the 6600 Block of Revell Road in AA Company 42’s area. Squad 1, Tower 1, Brush 1, PA219 & Chief 1A made the response.

First arriving units from Deale found a working house fire with extension into a second home, along with multiple spots fires in the nearby woods. Squad 1 arrived on the scene and assumed first due special service responsibilities.

Tower 1 arrived and assumed first due truck responsibilities. Both assisted with extinguishment and extensive overhaul. Brush 1 assisted with extinguishing multiple spot fires in the woods around the fireground. PA219 assisted AA Medic 9 with rehab. Units remained on scene for approximately 3 hours. There were no reported injuries or fatalities.

The NBVFD reminds you to not openly burn in dry, windy conditions as outside fires can spread extremely quickly.
