At 1131 hours, Area Box 106 was dispatched for the reported shed on fire in the 8500 Block of St. Andrew’s Drive. 

Engine 11, Engine 12, Tower 1, Chief 1, Chief 1A & Chief 1B made the response. 

Chief 1A arrived to find a 15x15 shed fully involved with some extension into the woods and established the command. Engine 12 arrived, took their own hydrant, and advanced an attack line to extinguish the fire. Engine 11 stretched a backup line to extinguish the woods fire & Tower 1 assisted with overhaul. The box was quickly scaled back to hold Company 1 only. 

The NBVFD reminds you to refrain from burning outside during Red Flag Fire Danger periods. It is extremely dangerous to do so.
