We paid a visit to Mike Torres on Sunday, November 3, to check in on the paint and body progress, and we were not disappointed. Mike and his team have been working at a steady pace to bring the truck back to its original state. Working with a vehicle from the post World War II has presented some challenges. The steel used to build the truck is a heavier gauge than today’s vehicles and presents unique challenges when it comes to straightening out dents and other imperfections.

We are looking forward to our next visit to see what the truck will look like with its new coat of paint.
