At 0842 on Friday, October 11, 2024, Calvert County Emergency Communications alerted Companies 1, 6, 5, 2, 7, Anne Arundel 42, Calvert ALS, and the North Duty Chief for a vehicle fire threatening the structure in the 3800blk of Breezy Point Road.

Co. 6 and Co. 1 arrived on the scene and found a delivery van fully involved threatening the structure. Co. 6 stretched a hoseline and attacked the van fire while Co. 1 advanced a hoseline to check for extension into the building. No extension or damage to the building was found. The incident was quickly controlled by the engines from Co. 6 and Co. 1. The rest of the assignment was placed in service.
